What good came out of Stratford Heights
I would like to say first that I am glad to have moved out of Stratford Heights. In now way would I ever want to refer anyone to live there as the management there is absolutely terrible.
I will say that unlike other people who have lived there and say how terrible it was, I did not have that bad of an experience.
I lived in Tower Hall. I lived on the third floor on the back side facing the hill. My room was only 99 square feet. It was basically a big walk in closet with an additional closet.
Being on the back side of the building, I didn't have to deal with the loud noises from the people or buildings facing the center of the campus. The frats could have their parties with their music playing and I would not here it. I am also fortunate to have neighbors who were also quiet.
the third floor was also the cleanest of the three floors of Tower Hall. It seemed like the closer you came to the ground floor, the dirtier and more broken it was. The first floor was always the worst as the emergency lights were broken off, there was trash on the floors, and holes in the wall. The center lounge on the third floor was the only place where someone decided to punch holes in the drywall.
Another thing I liked about Stratford Heights was that it was across the street from the UC campus, so it was a short walk. I also liked how the shuttle would come by and pick me up, so that was a nice convenience.
So basically I liked it because where I was living was quiet and relatively clean. Since I have been gone for two years now, I suspect that things have changed for the worse. It makes sense.
