I lived in a house on West Clifton that was fairly old and it was relatively cheap to live.

However after living there for a couple of months, I found out what kind of landlord I had.

I had a landlord who didn't give a shit about the house. He once had to come over and actually called one of my roommates to ask where the house was located.

This guy owns high priced housing and is very successful with that. However he does own the house I lived in and I find it an insult to his character that he would stoop so low as to own college housing.

He did not maintain the the property at all. Even though the lease said that he would cut the grass, he never did. We actually got fines from the city for our grass being too long.

In a way we had the house to ourselves as we were able to do lots of stuff and he never knew or didn't care.

He was in it for the money, nothing more.
